ZZzzzzz

Jet lagged still. Need to catch up on some zzzzzs.

Fear not, this site is not in danger of becoming a ghost blog. Not while there's any hot air left in this tired old body!

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oh, and surprise, surprise - A-NS died of drug overdose. Who wooda thunk?
The presence of Tamiflu in her system makes me wonder just a little bit if it wasn't a hit organised by that arch conspirator, Donny Rumsfeld because of what she knew about his role in the Iraq WMD farce and the exposure of CIA operative, whastername.
~~~~~~~~~~~~

Good night.

My brain is obviously not working. Anyone who considers that A-NS having known ANYTHING of ANY USE to ANYBODY is obviously suffering from cerebral anoxia and sleep deprivation. I'll knock back a bit more of this over-the-counter chloral hydrate here and flake out on my suuuuuuuper-soft king-size bed...

Welcome home! Aren't you glad to be back!? Husband is heading out to London but when he gets back, shall we meet up with PC and yourself for dinner somewhere?

Posted by: Hairydonut2 on Mar 28, 07 | 10:29 am

Sav: slept through the night without even my usual 4am toilet visit! Amazing! (Aren't you glad you know that!)

Smoot aka HD: Almost "home", you mean... am in Jarkata at the moment, then HK for the weekend, then genuinely "home" or at least Singapore. Therre is a song I feel coming on... "Wherever I stack my library, that's my home..."

But yeah, let's eat! And didn't hubby just do London with you? What is he addicted to pork pies and hand-pulled beer?

And when is said hubby going to start blogging - writing for free public consumption like fools, like you and I for example - again. There are too many of those ghost blogs in Singapore etc amongst my old favorite reads. Not counting the blogs of people who *have* actually died -- KoP and ID...

i could have lived without that knowledge. but thank you for sharing.

it's beautiful, like watching a snoozing antelope, majestic.

"He posted sporadically in 2006 and then last December vowed to do better: “I started my blog with great enthusiasm and abandoned it as fast as I started it . . . this time I am determined.”"

What an intriguing sentence. Is he determined to start again or determined to stop completely? Discuss.

Posted by: Dick on Mar 29, 07 | 2:08 am

Milos: indeed. ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. They had antelope (meat, not a live one) on the menu in our Tyrol gasthaus.

Dick: this intriguing anonymous person wants to be equally enthusiastic in abandoning his blog as he was in starting it, or so I vow I have fast completely determined.

Like most of the 10,000 other blogs that started today, when the next fad comes along, he will fade...

Vanity of vanities, all is temporary.

Posted by: expat@large on Mar 29, 07 | 2:56 am

Welcome back!

I shall resurrect mine blog. Material, yes. Time, not as much as I'd like.

Now why can't I log in to your blog on Firefox...

next time you're jetlagged try melantonin. heard it works. you're supposed to take X number of pills according to the time difference between country A and country B

Posted by: The Ivy on Mar 31, 07 | 7:36 pm

Thanx Ivy, I seem to have run out of melatonin, so I used serotonin, same same, yeah? Much happier about the insomnia now...

Posted by: expat@large on Apr 02, 07 | 11:40 pm

oh my insomnia's kind of improved of late, but only cos i've been taking this lovely blue thing called zopiclone. i'm running out and my doc won't give me more, so let's see what happens next. been feeling down and all of late. the pills help loads in getting me sleeping normal hours. but as they say, shouldn't get addicted to them!

Posted by: The Ivy on Apr 03, 07 | 12:15 am

I typed the freaking word insomnia 3 hours ago and now look at the time: 2:42 am...

My blue pills also work quite well, but they are not for insomnia, though I use them in the bedroom...
